From your very first session get hands on with our beautiful birds of prey, walk away with a module C1 and C2 Junior Raptor award certificates, or take it all the way with a recommended 6 sessions, achieving all 9 Junior Raptor Awards certificates AND the chance to represent Willows Junior Team at Vowly for the British Falcon Races in September 2027 Get stuck in with exciting theory sessions full of activities and hands-on learning, after a packed lunch, delve into the world of Birds of Prey where you'll take on the practical side of handling and flying, to work towards your Junior Raptor Awards Certificates. Modules C1 (bird of prey housing and equipment) and C2 (feeding and nutrition) certificates are possible to achieve in your first session, achieving all 9 certificates across a recommended 6 sessions. Come visit our new built burrow & be hands on with our owls. Now's your chance with our thrilling Burrowing Owl Encounter! Step into their cozy home and experience the magic as our incredible owls swoop, scurry, and dash all around you. Our charming and curious siblings Mojave and Sierra will keep you on the edge of your seat as they show off their quirky burrowing antics, darting in and out of tunnels. You'll be right in the action, with our playful owls landing near you, hopping between you, and perhaps even sitting on you! Each heart-pounding session lasts 30 minutes. Participants must be 6 years or older. For children aged 6-15, a full-paying adult must accompany them in the ‘burrow’. Wildlife trail Admission is included in the experience ticket.
