While we don't have our own food and beverage vendors on the trail, we're lucky to be located next to the Blueberry Cafe within Coolings Lifestyle. Open seven days a week, the cafe offers seasonal recipes made with locally sourced ingredients, ensuring the freshest produce.
Enjoy breakfast or lunch at the Blueberry Café, which is fully licensed. You can savor a glass of wine or locally brewed beer with your meal, or choose from a variety of soft drinks, juices, and fruit presses.

The Wildlife Trail is wheelchair accessible, we are an attraction with many opportunities to see our birds up really close during a visit making it suitable as a day out for those with visual impairments and for visitors with wheelchairs or limited mobility. While many pram, buggy, and wheelchair users visit us, our paths are partially covered in woodchip. We strive to maintain high accessibility, but due to the nature of the trail, rooting can occur, and adverse weather may impact accessibility or restrict access to certain parts of the woodland. Most walkways are laid paths; however you may find some natural unevenness in the other areas within our grounds. We would like to advise visitors that we have a natural countryside setting and sensible footwear and appropriate clothing for outdoors are recommended. Disabled toilets are available in the Cooling's Lifestyle centre. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
A carer accompanying a disabled visitor will be admitted free of charge, on request. Supporting documentation should be provided, for example a current DLA letter. The normal admission or membership fee applies to the disabled visitor.

Q. Do I need to book to visit the Wildlife Trail? A. You can pre-book or pay on the gate. During busy periods, we recommend pre-booking to secure your place as ticket numbers are limited.
Q. I have an Annual Pass, do I still need to book? A. No, you can show your annual pass at the gate.
Q. I’ve lost my Annual Pass, how do I get a replacement? A. Please email us at info@willowsbirdofpreycentre.co.uk, and we will have a replacement pass ready for you to collect when you visit.
Q. My Annual Pass has expired, how do I buy a new one? A. You can renew your Annual Pass online here: Annual Passes.
Q. Will the toilets be open? A. The toilets in the garden centre shop will be open. There are no toilets on the wildlife trail, but you can come in and out as you like with a hand stamp from the kiosk.
Q. What happens if it rains? A. There is some covered space outside, but if showers are forecast, you may wish to bring an umbrella.
Q. Will we be able to feed the animals? A. Not at the moment. We do sell wild duck feed for the ducks on the lake for 50p a bag at the kiosk. Our animals enjoy a balanced diet, so while some may miss being fed by visitors, they will not go hungry.
Q. Can we bring bread to feed the ducks on the ponds? A. Please do not bring bread for the ducks. They are given plenty of specialist feed, and bread is not good for them, especially the younger birds.
Q. Are dogs allowed on the trail? A. Dogs are not allowed on the trail, except for Guide Dogs under specific conditions:
Allergy Awareness Notice: Our animals and birds are fed a variety of foods and nuts. Our feeds may contain some of the 14 major allergens, and we cannot guarantee our premises are free from traces of peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, soya, celery, cereals, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, and sulphur dioxide.
